Here at EK9S, we strongly believe in letting dogs be dogs, and that all dogs, whatever their size, age or breed benefit hugely from regular exercise and interaction with other dogs and humans. We make the walks as fun as possible with different games and stimuli to keep the dogs entertained and hopefully tired.

ABOUT ME
Hello and thank you for taking the time to have a look through the site.

My name is David, and the mischievous looking one in the photo (not me) is my beautiful Lab called Ellie, She's nearly 12 years old but still has a mental age of about 11 months.

I grew up around dogs and have always loved animals, I knew at some point in my adult life I would get a dog myself. When Ellie came into my life I was working full-time, rushing around trying to find time to give her the walks and exercises she needed (she has so much energy it is unreal) but I always felt guilty with her being home alone for long periods of the day.
When she was about a year old, I decided to leave my job and work as a locum. I could then pick and choose my working hours meaning I had a lot more free time to be with and walk Ellie. I started walking my friend’s dogs as they were working full time and had really busy lives. Over time I ended up walking more and more dogs, discovering a real passion for them, not just being around them but trying to understand them a little more. I ended up doing it full time until the end of 2022, when I took a step back to concentrate on my studies with a future hope of becoming a trainer.

As a dog owner I know it is extremely important for them to have as much fun and exercise as possible, like us humans it is just as important for mental stimuli as it is physical exercise. I understand it can be exceedingly difficult leaving your dog in somebody else’s care and I hope to be able to put your mind at ease knowing that your dog is being well looked after by someone who is passionate about their wellbeing. For extra peace of mind every dog that is off lead is fitted with a GPS tacker.

HAPPY CLIENTS

David was great, Joey had a few issues with men and we initially asked David to help as Joey had a bite history and thought we might have to rehome him. Within a few weeks David was able to come into our home to pick up Joey (without a muzzle) with nobody else in the house and he would be greeted with kisses. Can't thank you enough David.
